Research Interest:
Our laboratory is focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms that underlie transmembrane signal transduction. Our long-term research goal is to investigate the structural and functional aspects of the receptors and channels involved in transmembrane signal transduction. To achieve this objective, we employ an integrative approach, harnessing state-of-the-art methodologies including cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), biochemical analyses, fluorescence microscopy imaging, and electrophysiology techniques. Our work is poised to provide pivotal insights for advancing drug discovery and enhancing the therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with these signaling pathways.
