Research Interest：
fungal evolutionary biology and microbiome studies, with a focus on the origin and evolution of fungal predation behavior, fungal parasitism/symbiosis mechanisms with insects, secondary metabolites produced by fungi, and biopesticides.
Biographical Sketch:
Currently, Liu Xingzhong serves as a committee member of the International Mycological Society and vice chairman of the Chinese Society for Plant Pathology. He has previously held positions as the director of the State Key Laboratory of Mycology, chairman of the Chinese Mycological Society, president of the Asian Mycological Association, and member of the Eighth Science and Technology Association Committee.
Honors and Awards
